More walks, etc..

Me, Mum and Shirley walked a lot of miles yesterday..the weather was great..sunshine and slight breezes but no rain! Thank goodness we didn't go through any of that horrible spikey grass (I think someone said they were burdocks?) http://www.haworth-village.org.uk/nature/pictures/large-insects.asp?pic=237

Then today we were dropped off outside Sainsbury's and took off into a really lovely park...delicious green grass and plenty of running space - sadly, there weren't any other dogs around..so off we went down the canal towpath and into Spiceball Park where there's always plenty of my kind running around!  Sure enough we bumped into a Ralph from Yorkshire with Barney who is a Springer/Border collie mix - he was very handsome and we played and ran a lot.. Ralph told Mum that Barney is a working (gun) dog and they had just returned from an estate nearby and were on their way home via canal boat..

We've seen a lot of changes over the past few weeks..fields have turned from green to golden and now harvested!  They're even harvesting the broad beans which have turned black now!
