We got up really early on May 12, 2010 and I was put in my crate in a noisy cargo van and transported to the Virgin Atlantic Cargo building at San Francisco airport..I really hate riding in cars, but I tolerate it because we usually end up at the dog park! Anyway, at the cargo check in desk a very nice man was there to help my Mum, who by now was more than a little frazzled. She had to complete more paperwork and was then told that my crate was not big enough for me to travel in..Funny, I've been sleeping very comfortably in it for the past two months! The nice man then produced a large wooden crate and that's where I ended up for the next ten hours..about an hour before take off, a nice lady called Millie (seriously...) made sure I was comfortable in my 'cabin' - I was given water for my journey but no food (I guess they didn't want me to have any accidents on the way over..) and I managed to sleep for most of the time.
