I love my Nanny!

And she loves me too...

Today was a good day!

I should explain that I think every day is a good day, but today was especially good! We started the day by going for a walk around 9o'clock which is unusual (Mum is not a morning person!!) I found out later that it was because she wanted me to 'behave' or at least be less excited when we met with the PAT assessor later.  She should have known I would be my normal, serene and loving self.. anyway, everything seemed to go really well, and I really liked the lady who carried out the assessment - we should hear something in a few weeks.  I'm looking forward to visiting hospitals, care homes, etc., and letting people generally spoil me! Mum said she'd wanted to do this when we lived in the United States, but thought I should be at least two years old..brilliant!

Nan has been feeling a lot better lately and I'd like to think I have something to do with that! I always look forward to (Auntie) Sue coming over in the evening, and I like to welcome her at the gate and give her a big kiss..

Later on Sue, Mum and I went for a walk around the village and I met Dickens - what a thrill..another Old English Sheepdog! He's only 7 months old but bigger than me..but I soon showed him who's the boss! Wish we could have played some more..

Adderbury Circular Walk

Sunday, August 8..Auntie Sue, Mum and I went on a super walk around the village of Adderbury and across fields. They grew up in Twyford/Adderbury, so know the area quite well and luckily the weather was really nice :-)

Charlton/Newbottle walk

Mum's friend Sue came walking with us today - it was lovely..not a hot day by any means, but very pleasant for walking.  The farmers have been busy harvesting so now I can see where we are going :-)
We walked towards Walton Grounds and then veered off to the village of Charlton..then on towards Newbottle (Woods) and back to Kings Sutton..

Notice that I can see now..they've harvested the corn/wheat..

The combine harvester hasn't reached this field yet...

Walking around Banbury Reservoir

Today Mum and I went walking with Sharron, Nicola and Holly...oh, and their dog Buckle - he's a 9-year old Whippet and didn't want to play much :-(  Oh well, we had a lovely time anyway, and walked by the reservoir, through some woods (where I jumped in some dodgy looking water..) and along the canal towpath back to Spiceball Park..lovely Sunday stroll..
