Where has the time gone?!! Mum says that the trouble is once you get out of the habit of doing something (like entering stuff into my blog daily!) it's very difficult to get back into it..I'm not sure as I know what she means (because I'm just a dog..) but I'm trying to understand!
I certainly can't remember everything that we've been up to over the past two years but will try and post a couple of memorable outings that we've taken and then Mum has promised to put something in at least once a week..I think that sounds fair - I'd do it myself but unfortunately the local college doesn't have typing lessons for the canine variety!!
Here's a pic to be going on with..just in case you've missed us xo

Finally..

We've been so busy this past year and it would be impossible to recount everything that has happened! In March 2013 my (2nd) favourite lady - Nanny - died and we were all very sad. She had been quite I'll for a few months and had moved into a residential care/nursing home :(  She was finally admitted into hospital where she died (peacefully) a week later on March 5..

Flowers

Mum has been rather lazy doing my blog lately (but she's had her reasons) I really miss going to visit Nanny and I know Mum misses her a lot too 😢 So here are a couple of pics of some pretty flowers to cheer us all up..

Gardening

Well, I'm trying to help with the gardening, but it's difficult for a dog so I just chew on my bone or have a good sleep out in the sun while Mum does all the hard work!  She's started growing things in the greenhouse at the top of the garden..when we moved into the house at the beginning of the year, we couldn't even reach the top of the garden because of all the snow - but we soon discovered a perfect little haven out there. It's quite a narrow back lot but as the seasons changed, all kinds of plants, flowers, etc., have sprung up and filled all the spare dirt areas! The rain is a bit of a nuisance, but it certainly keeps all the plants green and healthy and growing - gives me a free shower too! Here are a few pics of Mum's garden and greenhouse efforts..enjoy!

Wimbledon

OK..well, of course, I didn't go to Wimbledon but Mum and Trav had such a good time (so they told me when they got home..really late!!) so here are some pics..

They were on Court #3 on Day 7, the second Monday of the fortnight when everyone left in the tournament plays - three rows from courtside and the hottest day of the year so far!! The matches played that day on Court #3 were: ?? Azarenka vs. Petrova, Lopez vs Kubot and Tonga vs Ferrer..

Oh..and on Day 9, Trav and Steven (it was his birthday) were on Centre Court to see Andy Murray vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Roger Federer vs. Novak Djokovic :-)

Watching for squirrels

Posted by PicasaOne of my favourite things to do when I get up in the morning is to look out for squirrels in our garden - and our next door neighbour's garden (they have a lot of bird feeders and I don't want those pesky squirrels to eat all their food..) So Mum lets me out of the back door and I chase them off - never caught one yet though..perhaps that's just as well!! I don't think they'd taste very nice..
